Local esports organisation Level Academy has just announced their calendar of competitive events for the Autumn months through their Facebook page.
Thanks to the support of GamingMalta as exclusive title sponsor, The GamingMalta Autumn Series will be offering 16 free-to-enter esports tournaments for the local gaming community between the 29th of October and the 19th of December. With a mix of both online and offline tournaments across a selection of 6 games including League of Legends, Valorant, Fortnite, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Tekken there is something for every kind of player.
The series will kick off with a Halloween weekender featuring 2 unique events. Friday 29th October sees the series kick off with the global esports phenomenon League of Legends(LoL). This will be the first offline LoL event for a while and the first of its kind with a Cosplay twist.
Halloween itself will be the return of an exclusively special event called Video Armageddon. You can see 8 local gaming personalities battle it out over 4 Retro Games to be in with the chance to donate a minimum of €100 to a charity of their choice. Any money collected through subscriptions or donations through the broadcast is also added over and above the global amount heading to the charity of the winner’s choice.
And that’s just the first weekend. Take a look at the full calendar of events below.
Registrations for the first events open this Friday afternoon at https://bit.ly/levelacademyevents
