Kritiku tal-Eurovision bl-isem ta’ Fotis Konstanopoulos, magħruf għal kemm ifittex il-kontroversja, din id-darba qed jikteb dwar is-sigurtà f’Malta.
Sentejn ilu, l-istess Grieg kien twaqqaf milli jkompli jikkumenta wara li fil-ġimgħat ta’ qabel il-Junior Eurovision 2014, kien uża kliem dispreġjattiv fil-konfront ta’ tfal li kienu qed jipparteċipaw f’din l-edizzjoni.
Dan l-artiklu deher fl-Oiko Times, li huwa sit tal-Eurovision ibbażat fil-Greċja.
Il-Eurovision Broadcasting Unit wieġeb billi qal li s-sigurtà waqt il-Eurovision tkun waħda massima. Fi kliemhom eżatt: “As every year, security at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be to airport standards, which includes x-ray scans of all incoming luggage, metal detectors, strict access restrictions and control and various other elements. As always, organisers are working closely with local authorities and a renowned private security company. Security measures and safety precautions taken at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be in line with local legislation and the requirements of the European Broadcasting Union.”
